This will be the fourth year the Longview Half Marathon and 3.21 Mile Race will be hosted and benefit #ETDSG. We are ready to #rock21 for a better year! How about you?
The Longview Half Marathon has become an annual tradition in March in Longview. It’s a unique half marathon and 3.21 mile race as we celebrate our friends in the East Texas community who have Trisomy 21, also known as Down syndrome. This diagnosis means they have 3 copies of chromosome 21 instead of only two so come run the extra for those who rock their extra 21st chromosome.
Our race purpose is to advocate for acceptance and inclusion in the community for those with Down syndrome and other disabilities. Proceeds go to the East Texas Down Syndrome Group.
This event, along with the annual Buddy Walk in October, are the main fundraisers for the East Texas Down Syndrome Group. We appreciate your patronage and support.
If you have any questions please email longviewhalf.321@etdsg.org.
*If for reasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are unable to have the race in person, full refunds will be provided.
