2021 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Tyler

Under the guidance of ZERO’s Medical Advisory Board Chair and local officials, ZERO has been regularly evaluating the impacts of all COVID-19 variants to ensure the safety of our staff, volunteers, and participants during this Run/Walk season.

At this time, out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to change the format of the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Tyler scheduled for September 25, 2021 to an entirely virtual format.

We encourage you to join us virtually on September 25 at 8:30 a.m. ET using the app. There are also more dates/times to choose from if this date doesn't work for you. Please visit the website at http://zerocancer.run/tyler to see alternate dates.

Prior to this announcement, each event provided the option to participate virtually through the Charge Running app, available for download in the App Storeand Google Play. We will now be hosting the event solely through the Charge Running app for all registered participants. Led by a ZERO team member, you will be able to virtually participate in the Run/Walk, communicate with other participants through the app’s chat feature, share your stories and photos, and continue to fundraise for the event.

Your registration will automatically be switched from in-person to virtual, so there is no need for any further action by you at this time. Participants will have until the event date, September 25 to earn a run/walk shirt by fundraising $50. All participants who qualified for the event shirt by the deadline will now be mailed their shirts following the virtual run/walk.

Although we were very much looking forward to coming together with you in-person this year, we are committed to hosting a fun and interactive event for all of our participants. We will not be stopped in our goal to celebrate the lives of prostate cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and families and provide critical support to those in need.

Thank you for being part of this event and we will continue to keep you informed on any event changes or updates. Your ongoing support for ZERO and our community during these difficult times is inspiring and deeply appreciated. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us via email at races@zerocancer.org or through our Run/Walk Hotline at 202-303-3110.
